FOR THE NEW YEAR

Life they say is marked by time and this time some use to achieve greatness and others nothing, governed by the very the choices, decisions and actions we take but ruled by a supreme being called God who above all is the giver of this life. This giver, gave you the life for free and has kept this life in you which has been marked by the year 2010 and will continue to keep this life in you till you become aged.

Today, been the last day of 2010 is undoubtedly a day which some set aside for reflections of how they spent their time, the choices, decisions and actions they made and more interesting their achievements for their time, choices, decisions and actions and totally they fail to appreciate the very supreme being GOD who through his mercy, favor and grace kept them from day 1 to day 365 of year 2010.  They forget that an appreciative heart is an appreciating being and that an unappreciative heart is a depreciating being..Hence as for me, I will appreciate GOD today for his love, kindness, mercy and grace that has kept me and will continue in keeping me so that I will be an appreciating being at all time.

I wish you God's best for you in the forth coming year

I wish you the very mind of God which has and will continue to establish men and women around the globe

I wish you the very things that you wish yourself which God himself has inspired you to want for yourself

I wish you good health and long life which is God's special mindset for us His children

I wish you above all the success that conquers the success of the heathen.

I wish you life and life in abundance under the tutorship of Jesus Christ our Lord

Now that I have wished you everything called Good, Take time to wish yourself via confession the very things you want God to do for and give you.

We are probably few hours away from 2011 and your mindset should be that governed with praise and thanksgiving because many we saw, met and heard their voice on 1st January are no more today and even today been 31st might be no more in the next few hours..This calls for thanksgiving.

Personally for me this year has not been a too good year because from the beginning of the year till today, I have lost like 6 relatives including some friends and this has made me quite sober for the last fews days of this year. In all this, I am so Thankful and appreciative to God almighty because he does everything in his own will and has made all things beautiful in his own time. Hence, I have decided to not ask God questions which to an extent has left me crying and crying but I realized that tears won't ease the pain nor heal the wound but rather trusting in God for a better year 2011 will do exactly what my feeling and emotion cannot do and will never do.

 So, why not you trust God for a better year 2011, instead of letting your emotions and feeling weigh you down today?Why not you surrender your pains and agony to God for year 2011, instead of putting them as your own problem in your priority life for next year?

 Conclusively, all I'm trying to say is that you should impregnate your year 2011 with all you want under God's promises and assurances and then the year 2011 will give birth just as you have impregnated it with what the Lord has laid within your ability of impregnating the upcoming year.

My dear FB friends..it is my utmost pleasure and I count it a privilege to have met you and I pray we meet in the year 2011 or someday.

THE LIE: I DON'T CARE

The Lie I don't care is a fallacy which most people have allowed themselves to live in today's world. It can be likened to that place where we feel nothing out of pretense and neglect for the truth but deep within us we know we are constantly living in a lie daily which will only do nothing but to keep us as slaves.

This lie hurts, yet many have decided to live in it no matter how hurt they get and this has been only to their detriment because they deteriorate in nearly everything they engage themselves at.

The lie I don't care

is the life of a failure and they deceive themselves in believing that they are telling themselves the truth

is the life of men and women who have comprised their success for failure

is the life of men and women who in the expense of their dignity have chosen to live a fraudulent life

is the life of men and women who have accepted failure and said "I quit" 

is the life of men and women who chose not to try again even when life has offered them better(best) opportunities.

is the life of men and women who have chosen to be blind about success..hence settling for failure

is the life men and women who constantly regret about every of their actions, spoken words and thoughts all thru life.

is the life of men and women who use the failure of others as excuses for their failure

is the life of men and women who have become enslaved to fears of failure and have made failure their friend

is the life of men and women who rather than stay positive choose to be negative

is the life of men and women who sees no good in whatever situation they find themselves

is the life of men and women who sees nothing good in others who follow the same place they themselves failed and quit

is the life of men and women who call themselves "total failures"

The lie I don't care is seen as something we tell ourselves out of either frustration or some other psychological stress we go through. This is just a fallacy because it is rather seen by a school of thought as a way of accepting defeat over trying again, also another school of thought sees it as a way of accepting our weaknesses and doing nothing about them and many more schools of thought sees it as an act of telling ourselves..YES I'M A FAILURE AND I'M PROUD TO BE ONE!

So stop telling yourself "The lie: I don't care" because it destroys everything about you in the present and in the future.

Believe me that those who have told themselves this are amongst those that keep regretting all the actions they have taken and are seriously wishing they could act right but nay, it is already a dark world for them and they can't trace their steps back but even at this; most of them have found out the right way to turn back the hand of time in their favor for good and this they have done through the believe and decision that they can do things right and stop telling themselves the lie so as not to continue been locked up in the prison of life of regrets.

More so, there are people who might not yet fall into the people described above but their daily actions and life style shows that they are heading towards this category, I plead u retrace yourself for a better good today, better tomorrow and best future by accepting the fact that you need to change you actions and lifestyle.

Finally, Life is choice..so chose not to tell yourself "The Lie: I don't care" and see yourself turning every opportunity of life into gold. Cheers.

The Mistake.

It is said that "Life is one big drama",  this I argued not to be true until the very day that I came to realize in the affirmative that the above statement is as true as the air I breath to keep life going but this realization came in a very hard way that all through my life I might tend not to forget as it has rather left me like an injured man who's craving to be healed. Hence, I have come to tag the whole lot of time when I lived life without been in agreement to the above statement as "The Mistake" Surprised? Please don't be because life itself is truly one big screen on which dramas of so many kind/types are shown and seen as the days come-by. 

The mistake is founded on my experiences about how beings, who in the form of humans around us and who most times we  respect not withstanding whatsoever begin to mess up with us as if they were gods! Hence, the mistake becomes inevitable because we might at all possible cost try to keep our cool while the wrong that's been done grows more than Methuselah of old(wonders shall never end!).

The Mistake are several things in life we take for granted in our course of living life but they harm/wound us more than anything else we could ever imagine because  the surgrical blade which is believed to be the sharpest object or perhaps diamond will never hurt us as much as this when used to make any cut on our body. So what then are "The Mistake?"

One of  the major mistake is trying to please men by doing the wrong things for them when we are totally not comfortable at doing so. Why do this? Is it because we want to play cool or be considered as been too good and perhaps the best amongst our peers? I assure you one thing and that is; when you do this, you leave yourself a burden to yourself which in turns bring you to a place where it is rather best to call you a slave! Someone out there might doubt this but it is the truth which must be told no matter how hurtful it is.

Also, another mistake seen amongst humans is actually allowing themselves to be defined by others and this is one of the things today which destroys men/women all over the world. Please, never allow others no matter the situation you find yourself to define who you are. I'm saying that never ever accept that which people say you are until you have searched yourself personally to see if the way they have defined you is really you. More so, if the way they have defined you is that which does not suit you in any form/way, I advice you throw such definition immediately to the trash bin because what we hear, we think of and what we think of becomes thoughts and our thoughts most times becomes our believe and once our thoughts in this scenario becomes our believe there is a huge tendency that we might fall into a state of low self esteem because we have allowed other peoples definition about us to grow, germinate and bear fruits within our minds.

Furthermore, the human mind is more or less like a wondering spirit and most times our minds wonder far away to outside our beings and in times like this;  it has been discovered that our minds gets corrupted and once this happens, all our thoughts are about everything called corruption which in all draws a lot of our good strength and as such we become so lame in handling ourselves. This is actually a mistake because as humans we should have control over our minds and the moment we fail in doing this, that moment our mind immediately takes control over us; hence making us slaves because we act out whatsoever our mind tells us to do. Therefore be careful about your mind and try as much as possible to have control over it at all times.

More so, another mistake humans make is dreaming without back up the dreams with positive action. This is so real in our world today, because many who have failed are failures not because they never had any dream(s) but because they failed to back up their dreams with positive action. Have you ever seen packed car moving on its own without any force been applied to it? No and this will never happen because for motion of any type to occur or take place, there must be a force which must be bigger than the weight of such a car. So it is with our dreams, our dreams will never be fulfilled until we apply positive actions which are bigger than our comfort zones. it is when we do this that we get assured of success.

Finally, time and space will not permit me to write as much as I would have loved to but I must say that "The Mistake" are those little things we take for granted which when considered relevant can turn our stories around for good. So, why continue to make this mistake, when you have the power over them all? Be Positive, Be success oriented and you certainly will scale through where the sky will be your stepping stone even if you had been a victim of "the mistake".

Life lessons are best learnt by experiences and it is left for you to decide on how far these experiences can make you the best!  

EXPERIENCES!

Life is a journey as such "experiences" either good or bad  have become inevitable, inevitable in the sense that we can't fully live life without going through  or coming head on with them. Hence, the way anyone lives life determines the kind of experiences such  a one will get while on this journey.

Experiences to me is what makes life fun. Most times they come in the form of mistakes which you and I wouldn't really hesitate to call these "mistakes experiences" . These are such that we can either learn or not learn from them, no wonder James Joyce(Irish novelist, 1882-1941) said that “A man's errors are his portals of discovery.” This implies that it is actually a good thing to learn from or mistakes which we often times tag as "experiences".

More so the older we grow, the more experiences we encounter and these experiences are so fascinating that it has become what inspires majority of lives around the world to keep pushing on in the journey of life notwithstanding what comes their ways because each and every time they get in contact with life's experiences they actually get to learn and discover things which ordinarily they would not all through their lifetime discover hence these has lead to a craving among men/women in trying to figure out what exactly triggers certain experiences that gives us hope of a better and best state of life. As such, questions life "what are the essence of experiences?".

In order to answer this question, I would first say that life without any form of experience is "total boredom defined and seen in man". This question to me is rather too strange than anything called strange because the answer is so simple yet so many people have failed to see, feel and acknowledge this. So what then is the answer? The answer is that, the essence of experiences is to make us better and best people and at the same time destroy us if we fail to discover that little secret that could change our lives for the best.

Furthermore in trying to push my point down to you medulla oblongata, I will say that each time we experience one or two things that there is certainly a message in that experience which will only happen to us once all through our lifetime and that each time we miss to get this message; we actually get ourselves messed up in that we will never for any reason in life get to understand why we actually encountered such an experience is life's journey. So what is the remedy to this?

Hmmmm.....the remedy to this is actually a too easy thing in the human mind but  actually hard to do in the real sense. The only remedy is to possibly have an "open mind backed up with carefulness which is born out of the hunger for improvement(moving up in life's staircase)". This way, you get to learn from each and every experience that you will encounter in life's journey.

Also, there are certain times we feel so bad and pained about going through a particular experience or a set of experiences that we totally wished we could in ways immeasurable erase them out of our lives but the truth remains that without those experiences our lives will never be complete as such erasing them will trigger certain things against us in the journey of life that "had I known" will end up been the songs we could sing all through our days of life. So, be careful what you wish for and do with the experiences that life brings our ways.

Conclusively, experiences are the ingredients of life that shows we are living life, hence they are totally important to our moving to the next phase and this happens only when  we have actually learned all that life through its experiences wants us to learn so as to help trigger our moving into the next phase of our life.

Therefore, be careful with what you do with each and every of life experiences as they can either mere or make you.

Know this,

Our mistakes are in some ways the totality of our failure to learn from certain experiences we have encountered in life, as such life brings them back to us in those forms so that we can  learn from them as we journey through life and its hurdles. 

Most times through the help of experience, we become victors rather than been victims in certain situations we find ourselves.

Think on the following

Nigeria at 50, what the Government want to celebrate.

Nigeria, a country in western Africa with an estimated population of 150 million people gained independence in October 1st 1960 and will turn 50 on October 1st 2010. My country Nigeria is so blessed in almost all the known natural resources of our time and has over the years  been known as a major oil producing country, as such it has made huge amount of money that it could in real sense become the envy of the whole world in terms of infrastructural development, technology advancement  etc but the reverse is the case as my country Nigeria has been plagued by men and women who call themselves leadesr but who in the actual sense are all rogues that do nothing but enrich themselves, their family, friends and well wishers at the expense of Nigeria hence making Nigeria a place of scorn which even at 50 has not in any way shown a glow towards emergence.

Having said the above, it becomes important that I state clearly that as a Nigerian who grew up in Nigeria; my parents usually told me this in the Nigerian pidgin english "Öne day eh go better" but to tell you the truth, today I'm quite old and Nigeria as a country hasn't in one way or the other shown any response towards the positive in the sense that the things I used to consider good as a child are now in total bad shape because they keep degrading yearly. To attest this fact, when I was  studying in primary school as a young boy, we had teachers who were so determined to pass on knowledge to us but today the government has made things so hard for the teachers to the extent that the Nigerian educational sector is nothing but dead hence most teachers now are reluctantly doing their jobs or even not doing it well knowing fully that the Nigerian government is doing everything possible to kill this sector. I might go on and on giving instances of how things have so degraded in my Country.

Lately this 2010, I remembered that my country Nigeria will turn 50 this year. Suddenly, a thought in form of a resounding question kept bugging my mind and that was "what will Nigeria celebrate at its golden independence anniversary?". Here are the answers that came to my mind

1) Corruption

As year 2010 continued in its elapsing speed, I have come to realize as a Nigerian that my country leaders will definitely celebrate corruption on October 1st 2010. Why? Because the government has decided to spend about 10 billion Naira which after much talk amongst Nigerians home and abroad has been cut down to 6 Billion Naira. How on earth does an independent celebration of a country which amidst its wealth wallows in poverty cost 6 Billion Naira when this amount of money can actually be used to at least provide infrastructure. Furthermore, the government is celebrating corruption in the sense that there is totally nothing to celebrate apart from the fact that the leaders old and new will in one way or the order showcase to us how the shackles of corruption has so held them that they will in one way or the other say things which are actually not true but rather will tells  lies on October 1st 2010 either through their speeches or congratulatory messages on the pages of newspapers. They will celebrate corruption because that's all that is ringing in their head especially the those men and women in the Nigerian national assembly who over the years at the expense of Nigeria are wallowing in wealth by doing totally nothing and October 1st will be a day for them to show this to the world.

2) Dead Educational sector.

This celebration in one way or the other tells me that these leaders are happy about how Dead the Education Sector in Nigeria has become over the years. Why? Because from what I know and have studied over time, When a man is worried about things not been well and not to talk about been extremely bad as the case of the Nigerian Education Sector, such man does not celebrate in whatsoever ways notwithstanding anything but will at all cost choose to put his house in order after which he will declare a big time celebration for people to rejoice with him, hence I deem it necessary to SAY THAT OUR LEADERS WOULD HAVE ACTUALLY DECLARED THIS DAY A SAD DAY AND A DAY TO REALLY THINK ON HOW BEST TO DO THINGS IN THIS COUNTRY THAT WILL YIELD THE VERY BEST RESULT WE WANT. They should use this day to map out ways through which our education sector can be put back into the best of its working condition. Question for all the leaders, Please where are your kids schooling? This question exposes them  a lot because non of them will actually answer it.

3) Governments Failure.

This year independence celebration by the Nigerian government for sure having looked at all spheres in my country Nigeria is a celebration of governments failure. How can a government who over 50 years failed to provide its citizens with the basic human amenities of life celebrate its independence(not FAILING TO MENTION THAT THIS DAY IS A DAY OF OUR FREEDOM AS A COUNTRY FROM OUR COLONIAL MASTERS) and not only celebrate but celebrates it with such amount of money that if used in the best of ways will go a long way in saving Nigerians of the hurdles they face daily due to governments failure.

4) Unfulfilled Promises

Over the years in Nigeria, several leaders has ruled and gone but how much of the electoral promises did these leaders fulfill talk-less of them doing their constitutionally provided jobs? I doubt if any but one thing I know is that they fulfilled "the promise of, I will steal the money once I get into office and this they did all through their tenure"

So if the Federal and state government knows this! Then why call for a galore and jamboree of October 1st Celebration with 6Billion or more? This is because, they lack shame in that they have become so used and addicted to not fulfilling their electoral promises and constitutional duties and as such they want to tell us, Nigerians that they don't care amidst their unfulfilled promises and failure to perform their constitutional duties for 50 years.

5) Scared Followers

 The Nigerian Leader and Nigerians at large will on October 1st 2010 celebrate the scared Nigerian follower. scared in the sense that we can't stand these men/women in their face and tell them the truth about how badly they have damaged Nigeria. The Nigerian follower chooses to suffer it alone even when he/she has the knowledge that this is what government should do or have done for them.

The reasons are so many that time will not permit me to state all of them but I really feel it and in so many ways have come to conclude that October 1st 2010 should be declared a day that Nigerians and those in the helm of affairs in Nigeria should make amends in whatsoever ways that will yield the very best results which for 50 good years we as a country have failed to get.

Here are my suggestions if at all the Nigerian government still wants to celebrate it

1) Government should use this day to apologize to Nigerians born and unborn on their neglect of their functions.

2) All past leaders of Nigeria should openly come out and apologize to Nigerians in sincerity, integrity and honesty about how they ruled Nigeria by stacking away money into foreign accounts during their tenure and totally refund all stolen money to Nigeria.

3) Nigerians should also apologize to government on their thinking that it is only Government that can bring about the needed glory that Nigeria needs and wants so badly today.

The list will go on and on but the summary is that if there is need for any celebration it should be the kind where all parties, personalities, individuals, groups goes back to the drawing board and ask this question "WHAT WENT WRONG IN NIGERIA?" AND ONE THING I KNOW IS THAT THE ANSWER TO THIS QUESTION WILL DEFINITELY COME ONCE IT IS ASKED WITH AN UNWAVERING LOVE FOR NIGERIA.

For all I can say now is that my country Nigeria is celebrating its death..Lack of basic human amenities, Lack of security, Lack of Good governance, Lack of good health sector, Lack of roads(not even lack of bad roads), Lack of integrity, sincerity, honesty and Love for Nigeria amongst Nigerian Leaders, presence of corruption and  Lack of everything called good in terms of Leadership.

Please, Nigeria as a country needs an urgent fix least we become empty as a country over time.

Arise...Arise..Nigeria's call we must obey..And this call and its obedience must be in the total positive..Because if every hand is on deck in Nigeria by a change of mindset borne out of Love governed by honesty, sincerity and integrity I so presume that Nigeria would certainly be a better place in the next few years.

Long Live the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

THE BEST OF LIFE.

People will  always prefer to say, as if it were obvious, that life is  probably one of the hard things to define. Perhaps, I will like to say that this is totally misleading because life on its own has properties which distinguishes it from everything else that is present in our planet.

So what then is LIFE?

Life is a beauty which is governed by purpose, determination, integrity and honesty. Life  is also that amazing state of being which in one way or the other, will at every possible cost achieve whatsoever that has been imagined, dreamed of in the mind because of the real perspective of existence which has been ascribed to such a thing. Life, therefore is purpose backed up by the right principles of life. I'm really sorry to say this, your staying alive does not guaranty that you have life. Why? Since life is PURPOSE, Living without purpose totally makes you a dead man even if you are staying alive. Does this make sense? Yes, of course it does!

The best of life is Life lived under the tutorship of purpose that is governed totally by the daily hunger, if not even seconds by seconds hunger to fulfilling this purpose called life. Life becomes "the best of life"  when it is lived with  purpose backed up by the right principles of life. Why? Because it is more tragic to live life without purpose than been dead without life. This is  because purpose is like that engine of life that guaranties that you are actually heading to that place called fulfillment and as such life without this fulfillment is a total tragedy. Tragedy in the sense that such life will be like a well without water, and no man  in the whole world will want to go draw water from a well without water. In essence, what I am saying is that no one for whatsoever reason will associate himself/herself with such a one and as such your daily life because a tragedy which if not mended will also have a tragic ending. Life, the best in it is to live it under purpose backed up by the right principles of life.

More so as it is today, many who are living this life of purpose that is backed up with the right principles of life  are so carried away that they have the tendency to have forgotten that there are certain principles which govern life lived under the purpose of life and as such they always end up been deceived thinking  that they have come or reach that state of living where everything in life obeys them just because they are actually living life governed by the purpose of life. I call this group of people "THE DECEIVED". The deceived because they have failed to understand that before a tree will yield good fruits that the farmer must always take positive care of this tree. In this case,  living life of purpose guided by the laid down principles which governs life is the sure way to commanding positive results out of life and these so called DECEIVED fail to do this and as such they have/will remain(ed) stagnant all through life because their failure to apply the right principles even  though they are living the  life of purpose.

Furthermore, from the above it is so clear that living a life governed by purpose is neither a guaranty of getting the right results in life. Hence the only guaranty is that you live the life of purpose backed up by the application of the right principles which governs the life of purpose, then you  will get the right result which accompanies any life lived under purpose  and these will be your companion all through your existence on this planet earth.

The best of life is like the beauty of life! This is  because where there is beauty, there is a huge response of good feelings that is brought about by praises from well wishers, this often lead to self pleasure. The best of life is more than this, because you who has this best of life will for sure notwithstanding controversies of any kind try as much as you can to always stay in that path where you will forever be glaring under life's beaut which in turn will cause  men and women from all over the globe to  get to seeing  that there is a small being in that part of the globe who is getting the very best of life that can ever be found any where else in the world and this is the beauty that exist in the best of life lived under purpose and backed up with the application of the right principles that be in life.

How then do you live your life? Do you live life and exist or do you stay alive without living life? There is just a thin line between this two. A thin line because many people stay alive without living life. How then do we stay alive without living life? You will stay alive without living life if you fail to know and have refuse to take to knowledge that you been alive to living life is for a purpose which only you notwithstanding whether life is favorable or not can achieve. When you life is lived this way, history will not either for any reason remember you and as such you coming to this earth becomes a waste because you have failed to live landmarks of good. Also, to live life and exist is actually the best because you live the life of purpose backed up with the application of the right principles of life and as such you are a name to be reckoned on even while alive and after death. hence history will always say your name amongst those who in one way or the other did leave behind "THE LEGACIES OF THE BEST OF LIFE."

Hence if you are among the first group who stay alive without living life, please remember that  "a stitch in time saves nine". And for those whose live life and exist, please keep doing that but be careful because you might loose it all once you begin to get deceived that everything there is to life will work for your very good all the time.

Please as you journey through living life of purpose backed up by the right principles of life, always remember the following

- An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

-Life is meaningless when we fail to do whatsoever good that will bring us positive satisfaction and fulfillment.

-Life has ups and downs which intends to make us the best when we live life and exist.

-Life is a totality of us(our mind etc).

-Life is a beauty polished by life of purpose.

Conclusively, it is totally necessary that each and everyone of us  should at least discover THE BEST OF LIFE  because in doing this, life becomes a lot more easier and also simpler than the usual complex life/living that we  humans are living today.
